More than 40 years, told day by day
This was my last day in the St Neots area for a few and so I was up early at 7.00am, walked Sam at Coneygeare and then helped Wiggly phone for delivery helpers.

Electioneering and still finding time for lunch before staying overnight and the weekend away with Wiggly
This was my last day at home for a few and so I made the effort to get up and out to walk the dog and be in time to join the girls on the way to the school bus stop.

I was getting to grips with the St Neots campaign and so chose today to go over to see Neil Campbell for the first Gransden canvassing and the exceptional efforts being made in Staughton by John Grosvenor, meant that I decided that efforts should be concentrated there.

Attending a clinic appointment and further Glisson Road visit to get our revised posters printed revised to take account of Gordon's death.
Then Wiggly, Terry and I went canvassing in Duck Lane in the evening and she stayed up late writing the necessary copy for Eynesbury.

To Cambridge with Diana, doing some chores and visiting Glisson Road to organise election materials
Another trip into Cambridge with Diana, it being an alternate Tuesday, and found her parents as well as could be expected.

Following the death of our candidate Gordon Webb a new Eynesbury Town Council re-election was needed and so I called an evening Candidates meeting to get their resolve to fight on for Wiggly's District election
Our plans had been thrown into the melting pot by the death of Gordon Webb and so I had to establish the full ramifications of this turn of events with the Electoral Registration Officer of HDC, Trevor Amis first thing in the morning.
