Sam was kinder on me last night sleeping through until 6.00am and then cooperated during the day as Steven Bloom came over and wanted to borrow the Rolls Royce for Christmas.
I took Diana and the girls off to the Little Paxton Family Carol Service in St James' Church. The weather was bright today and then the skies cleared this evening to make it bitterly cold again
Sam was kinder on me last night sleeping through until 6.00am and then going straight back to his basket for a further hour on command. The morning chores for him and The Hayling View and I then invited Steven Bloom over. He had expressed a wish to borrow the Rolls Royce for Christmas and I was trying it out for him. I also showed him my hunting air rifle and Sam and he was very impressed with both of them. This took me up to a nice lunch of roast chicken and then I went out and cleaned the car this afternoon. The drive got quite wet and so I put Sam in the back of the Range Rover and he was happy there until I had finished.

Then a rush to settle him back in the kennel and get changed to take Diana and the girls off to the Little Paxton Family Carol Service in St James' Church. Diana and I enjoyed this despite Debbie and Della playing up. This evening updating my journal and financial affairs and then packed ready to go early in the morning for Sam's visit to the Norwich vet for his second injection. The weather was bright today and then the skies cleared this evening to make it bitterly cold again and I was wondering how Sam would fare through the night. I found a little time to try some pigeon shooting today without any success.
