After enjoying Fisherman's Wharf and reviewing places to stay, we came across the nice Ocean Park Hotel, supposedly the oldest motel in San Francisco, before driving out to Muir Woods and having a scare over losing the girls
I awoke first and updated yesterday's journal as Diana made the coffee and used the bathroom first.

The drive from San Diego to an expensive Travelodge, Fisherman's Wharf, in San Francisco walking with Di along Fisherman's Wharf which was very busy with tourists. I was pining for Wiggly
This motel was comfortable for the night, and we slept well. Both rooms had just been renovated with new carpets and furnishings and it seemed that we were the first guests to occupy them, which was nice.

After a warm night, sleeping naked, my thoughts were elsewhere and went to see Di in the next bed before I could go to sleep. After breakfast at Cocos the San Diego Zoo was judged the biggest and the best in the world with buses, trolley cars and a sky lift to show you around. Then North to spend the night in Motel 6 Carpinteria
It was a particularly warm night and in order to sleep, I tried removing my pyjama top like last night but I was still too warm and so had to remove my pyjama bottoms and slept naked to get comfortable.
