Querying the Carlton Cards audit and replenishment
On this day, we were organising our stock of greetings cards at Redgrave, which gave rise to this missive to our contact there

'Dear Mark Timletts, I am writing to enquire about the credits to our account for the replaced stock of cards and also the Mothers Day and Easter cards which were returned.
We have credit request notes for £81.50 dated the 28/3/96, for £59.52 dated 17/4/96 and for £80.08 dated 17/4/96, the latter of which includes a handwritten note to say that two further credits will be processed over the next two months.
We have been credited with none of these amounts and you will appreciate that with a difficult cash flow as we build up the business this delay is quite critical to us.
I have previously contacted your credit control department at Dewsbury, and was told of a computer breakdown which was holding up these payments.
However, I should be grateful if you could follow up this matter and ensure that the credits are made as soon as possible.
There also seems to be the matter of the further credits to be processed. Have credit request notes been issued for these?
