Bev Reeve of Post Office Counters about Scratchcards and DVLC licenses

Lobbying our Post Office Counters representative

On this day, I was lobbying our Post Office Counters representative about putting more business through Redgrave Stores.

**"Read More" BELOW for the complete story**

Dear Bev Reeve, We understand your points concerning the smaller safe and look forward to hearing from you. In relation to the Camelot National Lottery Scratchcards I think you have misunderstood us.

We realise that the addition of on-line terminal outlets in the IP22 area is very difficult although we are pledged to pursue this.

Our point concerned the Scratchcards because as we understood it during the visit of your director, PO Counters do have the discretion to reallocate Scratchcard facilities between Post Offices and it was this question of securing National Lottery Scratchcards that we were attempting to pursue with you.

Finally, you may recall we discussed the possibility of Redgrave Post Office undertaking an agency with the DVLC so that we could issue vehicle licenses.

We know have our post office staffed full time and consider ourselves an ideal outlet for this service and would be grateful if you would assist us in our application.

By the way we have heard a rumour that Botesdale may be discontinuing this service which might have an impact on the views of the DVLC, but in any case there are a number of businesses based closer to us and we have a high demand for this service.

In a similar vein we are often being asked about Datapost and would be interested to know how we can apply to be a Datapost delivery and collection centre.
