More than 40 years, told day by day
Another full working day and further car incident with an offside rear light lens damaged.
My Discovery was not ready anyway and so I could only work for the rest of the day on overdue bank and credit card account reconciliations with no ability to relax.
Wiggly eventually fell asleep on her bed in her clothes but I still worked on.
We had so much to do today that I had to get us up to get on with it, even though Wiggly was even more tired than usual.

Another busy day travelling to first fulfil the pay day for Redgrave Stores and meet representatives from Post Office Counters who had come to interview me for the job of sub-postmaster.
Then to collect Sam from Jim and Julie and Debbie from a school outing who was unhappy after receiving a paint-ball hit her upon her precious fringe..
If we were hoping for any type of rest after the exertions of the last few days we were out of luck for today had been scheduled as pay day for Redgrave Stores.

Wiggly's car breakdowns dominated the day but gave us the opportunity to me the chance to watch the closing conference speech by Jim Wallace MP , the leader of the Liberal Democrats in Scotland, and to meet her brother.
Home early in the morning and very tired.
I got us up early again and we packed our things ready to leave after having an even lighter breakfast at the hotel.

A further Glasgow conference day. The Albert Ingham award was being presented for the person organising the best Liberal Democrat campaign in the last year, for which I had been nominated by my local party. I am glad that I did not win it!
Another struggle to get up this morning as Wiggly seems to be getting more tired with each day that passes.

A full Liberal Democrat Conference Day listening to Alan Beith and Paddy Ashdown, as I exchanged nods with the latter.
A short walk to the Rotunda and, between this and the conference hotel stood one of the large ship building cranes which had been renovated as a monument to the past ship building industry
Wiggly was again reluctant to wake up and so it was left to me to get us going so that we ended up struggling to make breakfast on time as usual.

Recuperating at our hotel and spending the day at The Glasgow Conference Centre for day of speeches, conversations and fringe meetings.
After relaxing in the hotel together, it was back to the conference hotel by car for the fringe activities.
The British Film Industry was one topic and we were addressed by Michael Grade, Channel 4 Director. Later, we caught the end of ALDC meeting which Chris Rennard was addressing
We did not feel too bad today considering what we had been through the day before and even made breakfast in time for the 9.30am deadline.
