With all that energy, it was good to get at least one result in the end! The dog whined throughout but not too noisily. A walk along the dyke roads together until Sam was well-exercised and we were tired.

A rest and then into Norwich, parking at The Castle Mall Car Park before noon and doing a couple of items of shopping. I bought Wiggly a nice pair of slippers and a tie and new pair of sunglasses for me.

Louise bought a new skirt and a power lead for her Psion and then we ate lunch at Pizzaland before having a cup of tea at The Castle Mall and walking down to the football ground. We sat downstairs in the Barclay Stand, just behind the goal and, overcoming the slanting sun on this brighter afternoon.

Saw Norwich weather some early pressure to then take the game to Manchester City and play the rest of the game in their half until the break. We eventually scored a goal via youngster, Jamie Cureton, in the last quarter and then lost out in the last few minutes to an equaliser.

The crowd had been quiet and negative for much of the match, and I had shouted myself hoarse to encourage the team and cheer them up but the goal conceded set everybody back again and it was sad to see spectators leaving before the end.

The walk back to Castle Mall, a little more shopping and then a cup of tea before getting a shock on collecting the car - the parking ticket had cost £10 for it being more that six hours! Back to Harnser where I walked the dog and we both relaxed a while before driving back to Norwich for a meal at The Floating Restaurant.

We had a nice meal of onion rings and salmon/prawn (which we both shared) and then mussels and steak before some puddings which we could not really manage. Back home quite tired after a bottle of wine and straight to sleep without any action.
