After a visit from Derek Giles to talk about an Eaton Socon planning application, time to lay out the Paxton FOCUS and watch more Rugby before taking Di to The Cromwell Cinema in Huntingdon to watch "Dances with Wolves".

A little lay in this morning and then up to my Sunday breakfast of poached egg and grilled bacon, tomato and mushrooms. I started on the chores of looking after the fish, doves and conservatory and was then treated by a visit from Derek Giles who came round with some views on an Eaton Socon planning application that was being discussed in committee the following night. A coffee once he had gone and then I settled down to lay out the Paxton FOCUS which I just about managed to do before lunchtime. A nice lunch of roast beef and then the afternoon watching the World Cup Rugby on the television.

It was the opening match for Wales and they lost a close match to Papua New Guinee after a very nervous start. After tea, I took Diana to the Cromwell Cinema in Huntingdon where, at long last, we were able to see the film "Dances with Wolves". It was a long and very enjoyable film and so we thus completed three successive evenings of relaxation and entertainment. Home late again and this time both girls were fast asleep.
