I awaited the arrival of Diana and the girls in then settled everyone into Harnser in Horning and then took them along to Winterton for a trip to the sea and sand which was chilly, but Sam was in his element.
Then back to Harnser where Diana and the girls had a quiet evening whilst I drove over and went shooting with Jim in Wymondham and accounted for eight rabbits two of which I brought back for dog training.

As soon as they arrived, they unloaded their things and settled themselves into the boat where they would sleep whilst, for the first day or two, Diana and I would sleep in Harnser. First thing, we took them along to Winterton for a trip to the sea and sand.
This was slightly spoiled by the strong onshore breeze which became even stronger and chillier. Even so, the girls waded out to the sand banks and enjoyed themselves and Sam was in his element. We had lunch at the kiosk and met the proprietor and his wife again.
Then back to Harnser where Diana and the girls had a quiet evening whilst I drove over and went shooting with Jim in Wymondham. We took a lamp and my .22 rifle and accounted for eight rabbits and should have had three times that number but I found the range and task difficult first off.
Out until after midnight and then home with a couple of young rabbits for me to do some retrieving training with. Very tired to bed after 1.30am.
