A good session archiving my journal and catching up with financial transactions whilst also taking delivery of new bunk beds for the girls.

Then to Bedford for the cinema with Diana and a long training walk with Sam.

There followed an evening with Wiggly delaying my Norfolk visit until the following day

This was the day that I was scheduled to go across to Horning to supervise the demolition of Harnser but there was plenty to be done at home in the meanwhile.

A variety of financial transactions and also the completion of my project to archive and print out my journal for the month of October.

I was then up to date on all things apart from my financial summary which would have to wait until I got back. Plenty of bills to pay and then both my cheque and credit card accounts to reconcile.

Diana was out doing some shopping, but I stayed in which also allowed me to be there for the delivery of the new bunk beds for Della.

After lunch, I took Diana out to Bedford and arranged for the handyman Peter to assemble the bed, and we settled Della into it later and she was very pleased. I saw the film "It Could Happen to You" with Diana and enjoyed it despite the fact that it was the second time that I had seen it lately.

A long run with Sam in view of his being confined later and chance to do some quartering, dummy training and obedience work.

In mid-evening, I loaded up and left for Norfolk ostensibly; but I actually went no further than Montague Street where I took my bags in for a night with Wiggly.

We chatted easily for a while and then slipped upstairs to bed, snuggling down under her duvet for another passionate night. We relaxed reasonably and also got through a bathroom and breakfast routine so that she could get off for work and me with Sam.

I ran him around the set aside and woods at Coneygear and, seeing the possibilities that this area of set aside provided, I quartered him through it and there found first a cock pheasant and then a hen which was very satisfying.
