A lay in of sorts as nobody needed to get up for anything and so I trapped Diana and decided to pet her to ecstasy before letting her get up.
She was slow to rouse and dry to the touch but then, once I had turned her over on to her tummy and put my long fingers underneath, I got her going and rubbed her a full ten seconds after she had climaxed until she was pleading for me to stop!
Then out with Sam for a short run. I concentrated on getting him to quarter under close control at short range and did quite well with him in this respect.
I was a little restless as there was no football match to go and see nor any dog event to go to and I toyed with the idea of trying to drive down to the key Tottenham vs. West Ham derby and looking up the place of my youth. I asked Diana but she did not want to go and then I telephoned the club and found out that all the tickets had been sold in advance anyway.
A little rest and then to take the whole family out for lunch which I insisted that we had at The Bridge Restaurant Beefeater for a pleasant change. A nice meal and then back home for some more televised sport that was not really up to scratch.
A call to Wiggly today, commiserating with her on my having to withdraw Sam from the trial and telling her of my abortive plans that could have led to me introducing her to the London of my formative years. Another run for Sam, for which I had taken the time to make up a lifelike pheasant dummy; using the tails and wings of the ones I had secured to a large hare-sized dummy. He had no trouble retrieving this which makes a mockery of his behaviour with real cold game.
After tea, a quiet evening chatting to Nigel and Jim about things on the telephone and then trying to update my journal before the rest of the time collapsing in front of the TV to watch some fairly poor programmes.
