Managing to get back in my office work for a change after having a nice bath and then washing my hair which was very necessary. After reading correspondence and newspapers, I was also taking a bit more time and trouble to feed the Koi carp whilst ill. More administration later and updating my journal again.

I had a much more productive day, managing to get back in my office for a while and doing some small chores. This morning was still slow as usual, but I had a nice bath and then washed my hair which was very necessary. Quite a bit of mail and then the newspapers which I also tried to read. I am taking a bit more time and trouble to feed the Koi carp whilst I am ill. The Nidan Kahaku has been getting very thin due to its poor feeding and nervous disposition and has not even been trying to eat in competition with the others when food is just thrown in. Over these last three days, I have managed to get it to start eating again and now hope that it will become less emaciated.

This afternoon and evening, I attended to a number of items of correspondence and, in particular, extracted information out of several people that had been taking their time. I also updated my journal and reconciled the Abbey National building society account which task was overdue.
