To Cambridge with Diana ordering a new double bunk-bed and mattresses for Della and then back to my office whilst making three calls to Wiggly as she lays ill in Sheffield Hotel slowly getting better before I spend the evening dog-obedience training.
News is of the government's climb-down over their previous plans to privatise the Post Office and the reaction of the Tory right-wingers who are very unhappy about it.
A good and sound night's sleep and so rested and relaxed to start the day. Di woke me up quite early and this let me walk Sam well before joining the girls for their walk to the bus stop.

Some fun with them and the others before leaving them to complete Sam's walk and make my first of three calls to Wiggly, stranded ill in room 316 of the Sheffield Post House Hotel.
I found her still very ill, shaky and vulnerable this morning, depressed to be in her predicament but I talked to her a while and at least she had come through the night without being sick again.
I then called her in the afternoon and then in late evening and she was improving all the time so that she might be able to re-join the course for the next day. She was visited by a doctor who decided that she must have some virus but he did not seem able to do anything so that she only ate a yoghurt and an apple all day.
It was a fairly low-key day for Sam's training as I was occupied on other things for most of the day but he did get two runs and then taken to the Cromwell Kennels obedience class where his behaviour and performance was quite good compared with some others that barked and whined all the time.
I spent this morning taking Diana to Cambridge and, after seeing her parents for morning coffee, joining her for the trip to Robert Sayle to order a new double bunk-bed and mattresses to be delivered for Della next Monday. A nice meal at The Copper Kettle and then home after.
Della stayed on at school for her cookery class and made a nice pasta dish for us which we all ate for tea. Diana missed her afternoon "Keep Fit" class today as she was hosting a reunion of her friends Linda, Pat and Helen at The Hayling View but she went to her Yoga this evening and Debbie helped make the tea.
A call to Jim tonight, organising things for tomorrow night when we are to see Norwich at home to Tranmere in the FA Cup replay at Carrow Road. Another call from the proprietor of Wroxham Builders who is interested in quoting for the demolition of Heronshaw and was going to take a look at the property and let me know.

In the US, the Democrats seem to be getting a drubbing in their mid-term elections but the full results will not be known for another day. Redundancies at Norwich Union and everywhere else it seems.
