A day organising, making, and erecting election posters after collecting materials from Arrington and then distributing them in Gransden and Offord with Michael and Percy
The day organising and making the last batch of election posters, whilst the candidates were out canvassing. Robin Martlew was ill and had done nothing and so I had to go alone to the second-hand wood yard at Arrington to get some posts and hardboard. I then took the load to Gransden and use Des Merrill’s yard to start the production. I sorted out the poster boards for Des and Percy and then help them put them up, getting home very late for lunch and finding Diana most upset. This afternoon, I did more work and finished the job, with Michael coming back to help. This evening, I was out with Percy again until dark, and having a glass of elderberry wine with an ex-Liberal Democrat County councillor, who is giving us his support in Buckden. Home quite late and pleased to see the flag boards in place
