Tiananmen square democratic protests prior to the mass killings of thousands

I spent the whole morning talking to agents and professional contacts in Norfolk about my idea of acquiring Admiral’s Cottage for rental before a poor meeting this evening of the HDC Economic Development Committee, start of business due to lack of willing investment. Further news of thousands of students killed in China by repressive troops when peacefully protesting whilst Solidarity takes all before it in the Polish elections.

I had trouble waking up and getting down to breakfast with the family that was all ready to start back at school. Then I tended the conservatory and invited Pete in to discuss the plants and fish needs so they will manage a bit better when I go away again. Then to my telephone and the whole morning talking to agents and professional contacts in Norfolk about completion of the deal. I needed to instruct a solicitor, surveyor, booking agent and I also spoke to a neighbouring property owner and other contacts. Then I had lunch, made a few more calls and then set off to a 3pm appointment with my accountant in St Neots that I used to review all of my plans and tax affairs which are now a bit clearer.

This evening, I attended a District Council Committee meeting at Pathfinder house (“Economic Development”) which only lasted 20 minutes (it would have been only 10 minutes without me!) and so I was home within the hour. I was not so successful tonight as I would like to have been with the paperwork, but I did speak to a potential housekeeper on the telephone who seems to be okay to use for turning around the cottage each Saturday between tenants. The news today is of the true extent of the people killed in China by the repressive troops. The number is in the thousands dead and many more injured now there is the stories of different army factions clashing with a column of military vehicles left ablaze. In Poland, Solidarity and (the pioneering union party, illegal until recently) seems to run away with all of the seats in an election held for 35% of the Lower House.
