A ‘lay-day’ in Great Yarmouth after a fine breakfast at Tooks as I let the girls go to the seaside as I wrote up my Paxton Princess log, sketching the Wells entrance buoys accordingly. They took a Landau ride along the front and then rode on the pleasure beach attractions before visiting the model village and a "Ghostbusters" event. We met up at the "Arnold Palmer" Crazy Golf course and we played a nice game together before walking back along the front for the last time and having tea at McDonalds.
Another welcome day of shore leave which started quite early as I woke first and started to write up the last few days logs. I took the family off to Tooks for a fine fried breakfast which was very nice. Unlike the St Neots and other branches of Tooks, the Yarmouth one always takes great trouble and does things freshly to order and just right. Then I let the girls go off to the seaside whilst I concentrated on my log. They took a Landau ride along the front and then rode on the pleasure beach attractions before visiting the model village and a "Ghostbusters" event that cost £1.50 per go!.

We met for lunch at the Pizza Hut and then I carried on working on my log this afternoon. It had been an eventful few days at sea and I had to write up the results and learn from them. I sketched the Wells entry buoys and included the computer plan with every days notes. Then I met them at the "Arnold Palmer" Crazy Golf course and we played a nice game together before walking back along the front for the last time and having tea at McDonalds.
