Loading up both cars for the journey from Horning to Paxton on a beautiful day after early frost, stopping off first in Wroxham at the library for the girls and Snetterton for lunch and then to see Mum in Stanton.
She played Debbie at draughts whilst I took Della and Sam for a walk to the site playing field. Bad news from Daniel; he no longer has Angela as a girlfriend at her instigation.
Elsewhere, the two-year-old boy lost in a shopping precinct was found dead after being abducted by two youths
I was first to wake again and tended Sam before joining the others for breakfast. Then the task of loading up both cars to set off for home. There was frost earlier but it was now a beautiful sunny day - just when we were leaving. I got the help of Di and Debbie to load up Steven's cement mixer into the Range Rover and still managed to get Della, Sam and a whole lot of other gear in as well. The journey was fine as we stopped off at Wroxham library with a refreshment break by the bridge first and then for lunch at Snetterton.

A very active day with Sam and the family at Potter Heigham, Winterton, Wroxham and, after settling the dog, the drive to Cromer’s Regal Cinema to see "Honey I blew up the Kid".
The only blight on the evening was the fact that Della had a nosebleed during the car journey home and that Debbie claimed that this was a symptom of Leukaemia and refused to be silenced until hit my me!
The rest of the family were reluctant to wake up this evening, but the dawn chorus awoke me at 7.30am and I was able to get out with Sam's breakfast before 8.00am. A walk to exercise the dog and then we all went to Latham’s at Potter Heigham for some shopping and then refreshment in their cafe. I bought another half dozen packets of plastic bags for the Poop-Scoup, a county map of Norfolk and a variety of air-proof and waterproof containers to transport Sam's food about. The drive on to Winterton via North Walsham and Martham that brought back some happy memories and then we parked the car and took Sam and the children for a walk over the sand dunes to the beach.

Valentines Day which I marked with Diana away from the children this morning after walking Sam and then taking Diana and the girls to Wroxham Barns and then tea at the Horning Old Tea Shoppe. A better day training Sam and an enjoyable family game of Monopoly later.
I had a Valentine Card with an "I Love You" message on it and I took my Valentine into the bathroom (to get away from the children) and made love to her, collecting the kiss that was on the card. Out with the dog this morning again, walking him up the sawdust road of Crabbetts Marsh; but this time keeping a very close eye on him in case he ran off again. Then I left him at Harnser and took the girls to Wroxham Barns on what proved to be a chillier day than of late. At least it remained dry and free from rain whilst Diana and I looked around the craft shops and the girls went into the Junior Farm to see the newly born Vietnamese Pot-Bellied Piglets and all else!

After dealing with Debbie’s overnight tummy ache, I was up and out early with Sam and then took him into Norwich with the family to get him used to activity. Successfully caught Doris’s mole today. An evening dinner at the very stressful Mr Chann’s Horning Chinese Restaurant The weather was fine if cold and dull, but mist prevailed all day as the air quality deteriorated.
This time, I was having problems with Debbie last night. She was complaining about having a tummy ache, but I settled her down in the end. Della was fine and slept through the night. Up early to shave, dress and then walk the dog. I came back via Romany where I found that I had indeed caught the mole and Doris Vincent was even more excited than I. After a few days, it come as something of a triumph and is equivalent to stalking a deer or trapping a rabbit. She did not want me to hang it up and so I threw it into the dyke which was a pity as I like to display them as trophies.
