Sunday 26th June 1994 - Several sessions leafleting with sisters Wiggly and Joanne after a good training session with Sam in the morning sun who was woken by Debbie swimming in the pool.
Helping two girl owners train a black and hairy Newfoundland to retrieve in the gravel pits
I slept well until 7.00am when I was awoken by Sam whimpering and so looked out to find Debbie swimming in the pool and unsettling him. Down to breakfast and surprised by the number of people up so early this morning.

Later, struggling to unite members during the LibDem Branch AGM and having few afterwards to help with sorting out leaflets for our forthcoming by-election campaign.
It was another very hot and humid day and, after my recent late nights, I was not very well equipped to cope with it. A rush to get out with Sam and then along to Cambridge Street Motors to drop off the Rolls Royce for the repairs to be done before taking Diana along to the Kimbolton Prep Sports Day.

After walking Sam, off to Pathfinder House to correct Wiggly's nomination form to the Returning Officer’s satisfaction, so she is now a candidate. Then back to progress her Eynesbury election planning and surviving her attentions
A repeat of the routine where I walk Sam before 9.00am and after 5.00pm and try to tackle my work in the meantime. The poor thing still seems to be suffering from a cough which could either be due to the clouds of pollen and seeds which billow up as he runs across the fields or even his latest sin of running off with the door mat and chewing it up.
