Working at Harnser was my alibi whilst I actually spent the day and night with Wiggly and her sister and ended up with Nigel making up a foursome with Joanne
Another full day of work and chores in Norfolk followed by shooting with Jim in the evening was my alibi for today. The rain had kept falling and now the track down Ropes Hill Dyke was completely flooded.

I still managed to get Sam out and took him for a long run first thing to settle him down for the day. This was a key day as we were due to tell Wiggly's sister Joanne of our affair and Wiggly was keen to get her approval.
But first we had a long lay in and packed and cleared up the house before leaving it. I dropped off the spare keys to Jack with a £20 note in case I need them again another time. We drove to Norwich and tried to get some shoes but both Wiggly and I were too big for the standard sizes in the shoe shops.
Lunch at Oliver's and then the journey back to Eynesbury where I dropped off Wiggly before driving on to Molesworth to give Sam a good run. Joanne was due to arrive between 5.00pm and 7.00pm which would have given Wiggly plenty of time to brief her on what was going on; but then Joanne was late and arrived unexpectedly accompanied by her boyfriend to boot!
Panic set in as Nigel was due to come over at 8.00pm, but it was all sorted out in the end and Nigel took all four of us over to Brown's in Cambridge for dinner. The evening went well until Joanne got a bit upset at being left with Nigel later and this upset Wiggly who was anxious to get her approval! We had good night together anyway even though Joanne in the next room.
