USS aircraft carrier en route to Haiti
USS aircraft carrier en route to Haiti

Back home to Diana and the family for a fine Sunday lunch after my overnight stay with Wiggly and her sister Joanne. A good walk for Sam with some good points.

The planned US invasion of Haiti was called off at the very last minute after former President Jimmy Carter negotiated an agreement.

I was the first to awake after 9.00pm and so got dressed and out with Sam to the open ground at Molesworth for another good session. He had spent the night in the car and was very good but I did not want to take him for granted.

I picked up a newspaper and some milk whilst I was out and then got back to find Joanne up and in the bathroom and Wiggly still asleep. She was crying firstly from tiredness, sadness to be leaving for the week without me and from worry about what her sister would think about her relationship with me for she was so desperate for approval.

I did my best to smooth things over but the situation was very difficult with us all under one roof in a complex domestic situation. I helped them pack Joanne's car for their party conference trip to Brighton and then drove off so as to time my arrival home in time for lunch.

I was worried today at the inflammation on my penis and thought that it was the onset of the genital warts but then realised that it was just the Thrush and soreness from active intercourse. The journey home and a call to Diana from the Cambridge Road so that she was aware of my arrival as intended for Sunday lunch.

Di had prepared a nice lunch of roast chicken which we all enjoyed but Debbie's behaviour was difficult with her making faces and being rude to Diana and I which led to friction between the two of us.

I spent the afternoon, unpacking and then hoovering out and cleaning up the car from the effects of the stay in Norfolk and then helping Diana get the winter cover on the swimming pool.

A good walk for Sam who continues to cope well with all I do with him. He had good points yesterday and quartered the ground well today. The evening updating these last few days' journal and reading through the range of mail that I had received. Plenty of cheques to pay in and other paperwork to do tomorrow.

The weather was just about dry today with a big contrast from my experience in Norfolk. The planned US invasion of Haiti was called off at the very last minute after former President Jimmy Carter negotiated an agreement for the military leaders to hand over power to the formerly-elected leaders.
