Taking a walk along the dyke roads with Sam

Taking a walk together along the dyke roads with Sam before contacting many of those involved in the St Ives LibDem problems and visiting Peggy Batt and Mark Rainer later.

Family Lunch, and then then to bed quite tired, pledged to tackle more of my backlog of work tomorrow.  This after taking Wiggly home

I slept soundly and woke up much refreshed around 7.15am and went down to make a cup of tea to start the day.

I was affectionate towards Wiggly and cuddled her but avoided any lovemaking as I was still convalescing and we were both short of time. We worked very well on packing up and putting things away and so could take a walk together along the dyke roads with Sam before leaving.

After loading up and leaving, she used the journey time well whilst I drove and set up my opening accounts and transactions on my Psion organiser Money utility.

I gave her a cup of tea and then she collected her own car from Barton Mills and we drove back in convoy, with Wiggly seemingly driving so fast that I could barely keep up with her.

All this meant that I arrived home early for lunch, even after having to divert via Crosshall Road due to the Little Paxton river bridge being again closed for roadworks this day. Once back, I unloaded and attended to a few telephone calls before and after lunch.

I contacted many of those involved in the St Ives LibDem problems and ended up visiting Peggy Batt and Mark Rainer in late afternoon to borrow the St Ives Branch minutes and files.

From first impressions, there do not seem to be any Standing Orders or Constitution for the branch which would not have helped the arguments over procedure. Whilst there, Mark introduced me to his electronic mail and conferencing facilities and persuaded me to investigate using it.

Once back, I borrowed Daniel's modem and got his help connecting and was registered and using the system by the end of the day. Up late, writing this last couple of days journal and then to bed quite tired, pledged to tackle more of my backlog of work tomorrow.
