I ate breakfast with the family before going out with Sam and then it was Di & the girls turn to get ready to leave first. I helped them load and, once they were off, I could call Wiggly and make our arrangements for the next few days.
I then packed up and drove back via Norwich City centre where I collected the theatre tickets for both the family performance of "The Wizard of Oz" and also a farce that I shall take Wiggly to.
I drove on and rendezvoused with the family again at Barton Mills for lunch at The Little Chef. I got home just behind them and then a walk for Sam and time tackling my backlog of mail and other things.
After tea, I had arranged to go to the St Neots LibDem Branch Executive meeting. I was there early and took a glass of shandy into the meeting with me. In Wiggly's absence, rehearsing her pantomime, I took the minutes and then went through the notes when she came by later.
The meeting went quite well considering with John Roscoe the main problem at the moment. Stuart Littlewood, the Huntingdon/St Ives renegade, was at the meeting after all of his bad press publicity for the party and seems to want to throw his lot in with us.
