Back and out late to Michelle's Brasserie with Wiggly in Cambridg

A blank but interesting marsh shoot with Jim on Halvergate Marshes, and then to watch Norwich lose after selling key places.

Back and late out to Michelle's Brasserie, with Wiggly and home and too tired for a satisfactory sex session

In recognition of our efforts of yesterday, I agreed with Jim not to set the alarm before 7.30am and we both slept well and enjoyed the rest.

After scuffles earlier in the car, Bed and Sam also settled well into the kennel and did not stir until we woke up either.

After washing, I made breakfast whilst Jim walked the dogs up the road and had a cigarette and then we packed sandwiches, snacks and a flask of tea for our morning on the marshes.

It was after 9.00am by the time we drove off to The Acle Straight and along the access road to Halvergate Marshes where we marched off across difficult muddy terrain in search of wildfowl.

Both dogs handled quite well, disregarding Ben's whining, and were the better for the experience. There was nothing in range for a shot all the time we were there, but we got plenty of exercise and stopped for a nice break and early lunch.

This let us carry on until driving direct to Carrow Road for the afternoon football match. There had been much controversy in the run up to the match as Norwich had again agreed to sell a player, joint top-scorer Mark Robins, and sections of the crowd did not like it and chanted their disapproval.

The team did not play too badly at the beginning of the match, going a goal up after Ashley Ward had controlled the ball well and taken the defenders with him before putting it at Jeremy Goss's left foot in the clear fifteen yards out.

Then youngster Andy Marshall kept putting the team in difficulty with poor clearances and Norwich seemed vulnerable to long throws and high balls into the area so that they eventually lost 1-2 to Wimbledon, former Norwich reject Efan Ukoku being the scorer of the winning goal with a near-post glancing header from a cross after another throw in.

It was depressing to travel back with such a result but at least I had my lover to look forward to seeing. In fact, it was one of our more difficult times together.

We were both tired, me from the above and her from an overseas trip and job activities combined with final rehearsals for her pantomime and were delayed going out by a long call from her sister.

We decided late to go to a French Restaurant in Cambridge, Michelle's Brasserie, which was very good but we were late back and I was so tired I could only go to sleep after satisfying myself and not managing to satisfy Wiggly.

I tried hard for her in the morning but failed to get her to climax after two attempts and she then rolled over and grumpily asked me to make the tea and seemed to be blaming me, which I found distressing.

I took it upon myself to make peace and she told she was in pain from an ingrown toenail but still wanted to go for a walk with me along the river to Eaton Socon. Even though the poor dog had been kept in the car until nearly 10.00am by all that, he did not cause trouble, and the walk was quite enjoyable.

Then changed and headed back home.
