Sam's paw swelling was lanced and we were surprised by the large amount of prurient blood and pus released

Driving to Newcastle to find the vets open for Sam's paw examination when we had his rapidly-swelling cyst between the toes lanced and were surprised by the large amount of prurient blood and pus that came out.

Also finding a replacement Psion after it was broken.

Awake early and showered and dressed together after our overnight fun. I had my first major setback of the day when we went to see Sam and found that his front right paw was rapidly swelling with some irritation and infection.

I had also dropped my Psion overnight and broken the Liquid Crystal Display so that I was desperate to be without it.

There was nothing to do but set off and drive as far north as I could before the shops and surgeries opened and so got as far as Washington where, after breakfast at the normal breakfast cafe that I stop at, I was put on to a local vet and we called ahead and called in with Sam for an emergency consultation.

The Vet lanced the rapidly swelling cyst between Sam's toes, and we were both surprised by the large amount of prurient blood and pus that came out. He bandaged his paw in a poultice, administered injections of cortizone and antibiotics and then gave me some tablets and a note to take to the local Scottish vet.

Sam was distressed at first, but soon became more comfortable and we could drive into the Newcastle Metro Shopping Centre to tackle the other critical problem of my broken Psion Organiser.

I opted to buy another one and transfer the data to it so as to be able to carry on working and send back the other for repair, and subsequent use by Wiggly.

We resumed our journey, stopping at the Perthshire "Macbeth" Visitor's Centre for refreshment and then pressing on across the mountainous Highlands with Inverness our destination for the evening.

Petrol upon entering the town and then, after some consideration, booked into The Beaufort Hotel for the night. A nice bath together during which Wiggly massaged me and then brought me to a climax.

Then the walk down to a local Indian Restaurant for our dinner. Wiggly chose the dishes carefully and I enjoyed the meal, washed down with Lager and shandy.

Back to the hotel and tired to bed after satisfying Wiggly for the third time in the day.
