A day of relaxation after recent activities but also made love to Diana before undertaking some dog training with Sam.
I had a fright when taking Sam out for a walk in the dark tonight as I accidentally hit him in the left eye and it was swollen for a while but recovered all right
I was very tired and, it being Sunday, we all lay in and even Diana did not stir until around 8.00am. She was also soon to start her period and so I took the chance of making love to her.

The day being a guest at Nigel's shoot and surviving the experience before leaving for an evening's entertainment with Wiggly, taking her out for the evening to Bedford to watch the film "It Could Happen to You" where a man finds a mistress more exciting than his wife!
The forecast was for wet weather, but I had prepared both the car and myself for the elements.

It was a devil of a job for me getting the girls out and off to school before I managed some good shooting with fine killing shots at a mallard drake, a moorhen and then a high passing pigeon.
Sam then pleases on the retrieves and then horrifies by trashing the latter.
I was again off to see Wiggly who had been desperate to see me and I enjoyed making love to her in her comfortable double bed
I was pleased to find that both Daniel and Debbie were up and showering when I woke up this morning so that I could just concentrate on Della and myself and preparing the breakfast.

An early morning foggy session trying to go pigeon shooting at Molesworth and then nurse-maiding the girls.
News today of the Dublin Government having to quickly reconsider a major policy announcement concerning the early release for Republican IRA prisoners after a violent raid by three republicans on a postal depot where a man was shot and killed.
I had stayed up until after midnight but it was me alone out of the family that woke up first and called the others.

Keeping in close touch with Wiggly as I see Diana off to her health farm slimming course and then driving to Norfolk to see Wroxham Builders to arrange for a Heronshaw demolition and then taking Jim Bird to see Norwich finally win their cup match against Tranmere Rovers 4-2 after being 0-2 behind.
This was a different day in many respects, but mainly because Diana was off for a three day/two night stay at a health farm and I was going to have to look after the girls whilst she was away.

To Cambridge with Diana ordering a new double bunk-bed and mattresses for Della and then back to my office whilst making three calls to Wiggly as she lays ill in Sheffield Hotel slowly getting better before I spend the evening dog-obedience training.
News is of the government's climb-down over their previous plans to privatise the Post Office and the reaction of the Tory right-wingers who are very unhappy about it.
A good and sound night's sleep and so rested and relaxed to start the day. Di woke me up quite early and this let me walk Sam well before joining the girls for their walk to the bus stop.
