A walk into Wroxham this morning for details of more riverside properties and to drop in on the Bloom Family to invite them for dinner this evening at The Bridge Restaurant before taking the family to Great Yarmouth. We set ourselves up on the sandy beach alongside Joyland for the girls to use the rides before taking a ride in a horse-drawn Landau and driving home.
We slept well but felt quite warm after our large meal last night. We were up early this morning and I had a bowl of wheat flakes for my breakfast. I went for a walk afterwards to get a paper and to call in on the Black Horse Estate Agency (a Lloyds Bank affiliate) that seems to have a brief to sell most of the riverside properties locally. I got details of the local properties but they do seem expensive. I also spoke to the Bloom family who are back at their boat and invited them to dinner this evening. Then we took off for the day in Great Yarmouth.

It was a warmer day and we enjoyed our day on the beach. We set ourselves up with deckchairs and windbreaks on the sandy beach alongside the Joyland children’s rides and the girls went back and forth from the beach to the rides and were happy for hours. We finished with a ride on a horse-drawn Landau along the front and back before driving home. This evening, I hosted a dinner for eight of us at the Bridge Restaurant, Wroxham, and we had another fine meal (although the cost was over £100!). We are quite keen on the ‘Admirals’ Riverside cottage and have arranged to view it tomorrow morning before leaving for home. We slipped Daniel’s boat on to the trailer this evening and became ready to leave in the morning.
