Sam was well-behaved all day and we set off for Redgrave for a family visit, finding Jane and her boyfriend visiting as well as Mum and Freda, Alf and Chris.
Exchanging presents and playing a game of Cluedo and then home on a dark and dingy night in time to fed and exercise Sam and to enjoy my photo album of the Harnser building process
Sam was very good again, sleeping through the night and then being quite obedient during the day. I spent some time with him this morning and tried some rifle shooting for pigeons without success. I heard a fusillade of shots from shot-guns somewhere in the Great Paxton/Offords area and thought that one of the guns must have been an eight bore judging by the depth of the boom. After lunch and attending to Sam, we set off for Redgrave and were there an hour and quarter later to find Jane and her boyfriend visiting as well as Mum and Freda, Alf and Chris. We stopped for an hour and a half, exchanging presents and then playing a game of Cluedo with Nanny which was nice.

In this board game, a crime has been committed powers of memory and deduction are used to ascertain who the murderer is, with what weapon and in what room of the building. Modesty prevents me from saying who won. Daniel was close but guessed rashly and was eliminated. The journey home on a dark and dingy night.
