Most of this day decorating Harnser whilst working in with the road contractors to prepare my boundaries. Then to Norwich to collect my shotgun from the gunsmith and do some shopping and over to Stalham Joinery to order the internal and cupboard doors and furniture for delivery in a few days. Finally, walking around Crabbets Marsh in the evening
I did not manage to get a great deal of work done on Harnser until quite late in the day. I had to spend some time on watching the work on the road and, in view its rapid approach, got my own section ready by knocking down the road-side vegetation and demolishing a section of my fence to give an easier access. I did complete the rest of the coat of primer to hall and upstairs and then mixed some filler and fill in most of the holes in the kitchen, hall and bathroom. Late in the afternoon, I drove over to Stalham Joinery and ordered the internal and cupboard doors and door furniture for delivery in a few days.

Then drove on into Norwich to collect my AYA shotgun from the gunsmith. He tells me that, not only did it need a new top lever spring, but also a right-hand firing pin which accounts for the misfires I had been getting. I then walked over to Debenhams and bought Diana some lingerie for my home-coming and then stopped off at Roys in Wroxham on my way back and got some more shopping and provisions. Late on, I took a walk around the Crabbets Marsh roads to see if I could see where the geese were congregating overnight but, after walking miles and adding to my knowledge of the area, found little.
