Visit home for the week-end on a really nice warm and sunny start to the day and I dropped by Daniel's new shared house, Philadelphia Lane, to collect his new keys for him.

I awoke late to find a really nice warm and sunny start to the day outside; just as I was having to go back! There followed something of a rush to get breakfast and pack up to go but first I had to repair my offside driving mirror that I had broken off getting into the garage last night. It turned out easier than I thought to make this repair, as I could re-fix the mirror from the outside without it noticing, and so I was soon on my way to Norwich. My trusty Jarrolds street map showed that the site of Daniel's new shared house, Philadelphia Lane, was not too far out of my way and so I found it easy to drop in and collect his new keys for him. Then another call at the Brolac Decorator's Centre in the city for some more wood-stain and Poly-filla and I was on my way home.

The road was busy as usual for a Saturday but not too bad as the holiday season comes to an end and I was therefore home in good time to take the family out to The Happy Eater for a nice lunch. This afternoon I took the girls to Bedford where Debbie bought a couple of nice shirts at a teenage clothes place called "something Island" whilst I visited Magnet & Southern, Boulton & Paul and then M.F.I. to get some tips on finishing off the new boat-house. Then, after tea, I took Diana back to Bedford to see the film "Patriot Wars" about one man fighting an IRA group of "loose cannons" after one of them had got a fixation about killing him and his family. Home in time to get the girls off to bed and then early to sleep with Diana after I had sorted her out a sexier nightie for the occasion.
