First family day back for Sunday lunch, helping Daniel with his car and Debbie with her Chemistry homework. Also catching up with Wiggly about the locals hearing of me and her.

I was the first to wake up at nearly 8.00am and then Diana got me a cup of tea so that I could sit and think before getting up.

Showered, shaved and dressed ready for breakfast, which I ate before taking Sam out for his morning walk. I did this after and then had to drive up to Peterborough to get him some food as I had run out of this in the house.

I called Wiggly and took her out with me and we chatted on the drive, her telling me of the latest gossip about us reported from Mike in Eynesbury. It seems that locals know that Wiggly has a boyfriend with a Land Rover and that he comes from Little Paxton!

She told me all about the plans for their new play and video which will keep her occupied. Her washing machine had broken down and so I also took her to see new ones and that made me late back for Diana's Sunday lunch.

Either in my haste of dropping Wiggly off or by something else I had said, I upset her and this made our parting rather unsatisfactory.

A nice meal and then the afternoon unloading the rest of my car of shooting and other things before being diverted by Daniel into helping him with his car problems.

First his own car refused to start but neither he nor I could see why. Eventually I took him over to Tensor to borrow the pool car but then, whilst I was in St Neots getting petrol, this ran out of petrol itself and so I had to go and take a can to get Dan going again!

It had been him that had last used the car and so he was hoist with his own petard. Back for a rest, a little TV, a walk for Sam and then tea in the lounge with the girls.

The rest of the evening talking to Debbie about her schoolwork and then helping her with her Chemistry homework before I settled down until late transferring my organiser notes onto my central journal and adding some more for this eventful day.
