After the whole country being situated in a mild airstream these last two days, cold weather was now back in the far north of Scotland to remind me of what the weather was like last week.

Lunch at the Copper Kettle and then home with Di driving again. Poor news upon my return, as Percy called to tell me of the latest LibDem crisis as Mark Rainer resigns from the party as Stuart Littlewood had not been expelled!
Some work at my desk and then walking Sam before tea, pleasantly surprised that the hours of light now extend beyond 5.00pm.
Calls to and from Mark Rainer and then I got him to my office at The Hayling View where, though short of time to resolve things entirely, I think that I can get him to agree not to announce his formal resignation from the Liberal Democrats until after the elections or until after the chance for the new constituency executive to consider his Stuart Littlewood motion in July.
Percy will try to clear this up with him in the morning as, following a call from Jim this evening, I will try to get across to Carrow Road tomorrow to see Norwich City play in the cup replay and perhaps stay with Wiggly overnight.
A trip to see Mr Anderson, Della's form master in Kimbolton Prep., this evening and to hear how well they think she is doing so that she will have no trouble in going up to the main school this summer, which was all very pleasing at the end of a trying day.
