Getting a hard disk extension as Daniel's computer birthday present for his Apple Mac and progressing our Eaton Socon campaign whilst making light of some poor and unsubstantiated Tory Election Complaints
I was tired after a late night and was slow to the breakfast table, but I still got there in time to see Debbie off to school. I worked on my computer this morning, updating yesterday's canvas results, and printing out the new prediction and then Daniel came in and we made several phone calls to order his hard disk drive expansion. This was his birthday present to expand his MAC at college to be more useful.

We also arranged to collect a printer cable to connect the Laserwriter IINT to the Amstrad at the same time, which would help me in the election campaign. Lunch and then back to the computer as Daniel returned and we tried to commission the new facilities. We managed to get my computer and printer connected for my word processing programme but nothing else and I will need help to set things up for election day. This evening, I went to Eaton Socon canvassing and joined Rob Williams and Derek Giles in that endeavour. We covered quite a lot of ground and do not have much more that had been left uncanvassed. We still had to return for the ‘outs’ and then the ‘undecideds’ after that. It was a pity was that we did not have the other town council candidates, but they (except Tony Carmedy) will be along in the morning for our training session followed by a couple of hours canvassing. We heard from the Tory agent today who was complaining about our campaign, but he had come up with nothing of any substance which I needed to address.
