The day settling in to The Paxton Princess in St Neots for the day as I completed some repairs and improvements before we cruised on to The Anchor in Tempsford where Daniel joined us with Angela for the night.
We had a good night and without disturbance and then walked into St Neots and had breakfast at the Harvest Bakery. This saved cooking on the boat. The meal was a bit cold, but we enjoyed it nevertheless and then spent the morning shopping in St Neots. We ate lunch outside at Keys Burghers and saw the Smith family eating there as well. In the afternoon, I worked on the power supply for the 'fridge, re-connecting it to the traction battery set and adjusting the thermo-stat so as to give it a less-demanding duty cycle. It should now last several days.

Then Daniel went off on the inflatable to Paxton whilst we cruised on upstream and ended up at The Anchor, Tempsford. Daniel got back home and then drove down to Ware to collect Angela Brickwood to bring her back to the boat for the weekend. They arrived back in the inflatable just in time to have dinner with us in the restaurant before we all settled down for the night. Angela slept in Debbie's bunk; Debbie in Della's and Della slept in the saloon on the three-quarter berth which all worked out fine
