Our last day (ever) in Disneyland and Southern California enjoying rides each side of a Coco’s lunch which ended watching the Disneyland Main Street "Electric Parade". Intended to be our final visit ever as I want to spend our vacations exploring the United Kingdom and Europe in future by motor yacht.
The Californians put their clocks forward overnight and so we found our early-morning tactics already somewhat later as a result. A scramble to get out and on to Disneyland for the last day. Sunday is the best day to go - tourists lay in bed or go to church and American visitors are going home later at the end of the weekend. We rode on several major rides this morning before getting our hands stamped ("Figaro today in U-V sensitive ink) and driving out to Coco's for breakfast.

A more relaxing day at The Anaheim Shopping Plaza, before an afternoon swimming at the hotel pool and an enjoyable game of Crazy Golf and an evening in watching a TV movie - "The Kindergarten Cop" – whilst sharing a giant-sized cheese pizza.
We enjoyed a lay in this morning as we had decided to have a more relaxed day. We did not rise until 8.00am and it was after 10.00am before we were at Coco's for breakfast, missing the morning rush by being late this time. Then on to the so-called "Anaheim Shopping Plaza" where we spent the rest of the morning shopping. These Plazas are weird places to be. For a Saturday morning, there were hardly any shoppers around and it was difficult to see how the shops can make any money. I bought a book on Word 4 and another historical novel on Virginia Indians.

A great day visiting Knotts Berry Farm, managing an early start after breakfast at Coco’s and pleased that it had not changed its successful formula, just developed it with more rides.
We were drenched in The Rapids, excited by the Gold Mine and Stagecoach Ride and Debbie was shocked when held up on the old train. Back to the hotel for an early night.
It was another hot day and early start and this time we went to Knotts Berry Farm and Daniel and Angela did not complain at the early start after trying things their own way yesterday! Breakfast at Coco's and we arrived early at Knotts Berry Farm, so that I could buy the tickets and the others could look around the adjacent shops. Good old Knott's had not changed a great deal and was no disappointment to me as I prefer it to Disneyland. In fact, such attractions as they had added were very good and really justify another day there. All day we were riding some scary and some not-so-scary rides as well as watching a host of productions and attractions.

An early start after breakfast at "Coco's Family Restaurant which quickly proved to be the correct approach for Disneyland where we rode the popular rides before they became too busy and then left the park to have lunch and spend the hottest part of the day back at the hotel swimming pool when the temperature was in the high 80'sF this time! Back in the evening, having got our hands stamped for re-entry.
An early start today which quickly proved to be the correct approach for Disneyland. We got to "Coco's Family Restaurant" (which is its new name) before it was too crowded and, at 8.30am, our entry to the Disneyland theme park was already behind a hoard of others. We rode the "Splash Mountain", "Big Thunder" and other popular rides before they became too busy and then left the park to have lunch and spend the hottest part of the day back at the hotel swimming pool when the temperature was in the high 80'sF this time! We had got our hands stamped with Ultra-Violet marks and so could return to "Disney" this evening and we caught up on more of the rides that we had not gone on before getting back late to the hotel. Daniel and Angela went shopping today and had to walk 6 miles on a very hot day which was very tiring for them.
