News of Norwich City’s Chris Sutton being sold for a football record £5m by Norwich City to Blackburn Rovers
Another cooler day and I awoke feeling chilly again after a long and deep night's sleep.

I dressed in vest and long-sleeved shirt for a change as I have found it difficult to feel comfortable lately and this proved to be just right for the day. It was definitely best for walking Sam around the marshes; being much better protection against the gnats and horse-flies.
I took Sam across the fields and into Horning for the first time this trip and he was obedient enough. I came back with an Eastern Daily Press and sat out on the balcony after breakfast and read it in the warm but dull weather.
Once rested, I cleaned out The Jolly with Della and then we got Diana and Debbie to join us for the trip across the Bure to Horning Tea Shoppe where we enjoyed a light lunch whilst Sam sat in the boat and waited for us to return.
It had become showery, but this did not spoil our outing and, indeed, we continued on down river to moor opposite Horning Ferry for a walk over there. In the end we walked a long way, 2.5miles, via Woodbastwick to Ranworth Church and relaxed there to have some tea and cake before setting off back.
I had to stay with Sam, but Diana and the girls climbed up the tower to see its unique view over Broadland: but I did manage to sit and listen with her to the Rugby School Symphonia rehearsing in the church for this evening's performance.
We had to stop from time to time to shelter from the showers on the way there, but it had cleared up for our return. The cruise back to Harnser where I relaxed with my raspberries before doing a few jobs about the place.
The replacement registration license disks for our boats and the Small Ships Registration number plates to be affixed and then I screwed on a number of hooks in bathroom, toilet and kitchen to suit Diana's requirements.
Also, a full-length mirror for the hall which will be useful. This evening, another trip in The Jolly across to The Swan for a drink and sit watching the comings and goings with birds and boats. It now seems that Chris Sutton is being sold for £5m by Norwich City to Blackburn Rovers which will be money well earned for a new Carrow Road South Stand and replacement players.
