Cromer cinema to see the new film "Beverley Hill-Billies"

Trips to Latham’s in Potter Heigham and Winterton beach on a dull but mild day and then on to Cromer cinema to see the new film "Beverley Hill-Billies".

Home to update my journal before bed and to have a row with Diana about the girls giving up their piano lessons.

The weather continued dull but mild which made for another ideal day for doing things.

I was awake at 5.30am tossing about and planning how my next phase of building work could be done and then lapsed back to sleep so that the next thing I knew was being woken up by Della at 8.30am!

Di had gone off shopping, Debbie had just started hogging the bathroom and this meant it was another half hour before I could get through there and out with Sam for his morning walk. In fact, we had breakfast first and he only had a short walk afterwards as we decided to drive over to Winterton. Stopped at Latham's on the way and I had my customary look around at the fishing tackle whilst the girls were in the main store.

I will one day get my tackle and that of my late father organised into a proper seat-box and carry-all and get some of the new floats and baits that they use these days. On to Winterton and there a good run for Sam whilst the girls made sandcastles. Di and I walked him around until we sat on a large dune overlooking the sea and relaxed for a while.

To the beach cafe afterwards for lunch where we were greeted by the proprietors who have become almost like friends, we have seen them so often. Back to Harnser for a rest and then I changed and set about creosoting the rest of the garage; completing that section facing us until it was time to walk Sam, get changed and take the family off to Cromer to see the new film "Beverley Hill-Billies".

This was quite funny being based on the former television series of the same name and I am sure that this will be the first in a whole new series of films as well. Home to update my journal before bed and to have a row with Diana about the girls giving up their piano lessons. Diana is tired of having to nag them to practice but I feel that they should persevere with learning to play an instrument or they will regret it later.

Now that Sutton's move to Blackburn Rovers is official, Chairman Chase is also considering his position. He has been successful in turning round the financial position of the club but gets constant criticism over his policy of selling players.
