Horning to Paxton and clinic visit with Wiggly before seeing the film "Nightmare before Christmas", a ghoulish cartoon which was quite horrifying really but we enjoyed it

After an overnight stay with Wiggly, there followed a working day and Christmas shopping session in Norfolk before treating myself to fine meal of roast pheasant with all of the trimmings after a starter of oysters
Left from Montagu Street, after having a nice breakfast and start to the day with Wiggly and giving Sam a run at The Coneygeare and eventually got to Ropes Hill Dyke in mid-morning.

Working day at home before leaving for Norfolk via an overnight stay with Wiggly who was fretting about work pressures and another infection.
The project for today was to get my financial summary to April up to date and ready for printing-out which was quite a chore.

On a mild but damp day, off to Kimbolton School Prep Department for Della's last Prep Carol Service and financial paperwork working on my Investment Summary for the end of April 1994
Another mild day with spitting rain morning and night for my walks with Sam.

After tussling with the Mill Lane roadworks, a poor but jovial Christmas Lunch with Di's parents and playing my ‘nail through the finger’ joke on all and sundry. Then satisfying evening with Wiggly taking her measurements for the record.
The weather continues exceedingly mild and, though it is dull and dreary with little daylight at this time of year, at least my dog walks are comfortable.

Leaving Horning for Eynesbury to drop off Wiggly and then on to Paxton for Sunday lunch and Christmas Tree set-up with Diana and the girls.
Nigel has a traumatic experience threatened by a former employee and Jim is getting disillusioned with his whining dog Ben.
News of a growing crisis as a breakaway republic of Russia is threatened by surrounding tanks and troops.
Up early and out with Sam for a walk across the fields before back to do a mountain of washing up and get ready for breakfast. Wiggly was very tired this morning and reluctant to get up even after I took her up a cup of tea.
