More than 40 years, told day by day
A bad day at Derbyshire Grouse Pointing Test, arriving late and missing the briefing about the troublesome ‘gamey’ sheep and getting eliminated as a result and then a shock from Wiggly about her condition.
I was tired enough to sleep straight away and woke early for our start for East Moor, Derbyshire. We felt that we had left in good time and even broke off the journey for breakfast at a Little Chef.

I good day with Jim driving to Harlow for dog training as he was brought by his dad who was most interested in the Red Stag that I had stalked with his son. Sam’s training went quite well
I had to carry on my chores as Jimmy was to arrive around 11.00am. Pay for the cleaner and gardener to make up, more packing to do and the car to prepare for, not only today's journey to Harlow, but tomorrow's to Derbyshire as well.

A busy time at The Hayling View working to pay bills and bank cheques and then calling round to the Giles family in Eaton Socon and on to Luke Street to collect my table.
I phoned Nigel and met him for lunch and heard that his mistress, Kate Geeves, is now pregnant with his child and they are rushing around arranging an abortion which was a tragic turn of events.
Then out for a meal with Wiggly to find that we were both very nervous but, with her looking very sexy in the black mini-dress that I had bought her, with high-heeled shoes and a necklace of large pearls we soon enjoyed out meal and had passionate sex together once back at her place where I stayed the night.
It was an active morning and started with a good walk for Sam who had settled well into his new surroundings. I had done quite a bit of work first thing before I telephoned Wiggly to check on this evening's date.

Some time in Oulton Broad with the girls playing again and then the cruise via Stokesby on a lovely day for a seafood salad and then on to Horning and home.
We eventually arrived back at Horning around 9.30pm and I tried calling Wiggly on my way home but there was no reply as she was out with Michael telling him of her decision not to move in with him.
The local newspapers were full of stories of our Eynesbury By-election victory and Ross McKay and Sheila Coates' engagement.
The morning routine with Sam, taking him along to the banks of Lake Lothing for his exercise and relief. I find the area quite familiar now and very useful for this purpose.

Remaining moored at Oulton Broad and walking along Lake Lothing to Lowestoft and back until the heavens opened with some exceptional rain falling after being unbearably humid and warm earlier.
Some time in the Nicholas Everitt Park with girls enjoying trampolines and putting. Later, there was the powerboat racing and I also worked on the boat electrics.
The day started off fine and the idea was for us to stay moored at Oulton Broad and to take the girls for the walk along Lake Lothing to the seaside at Lowestoft.

The weather was hot and humid again as we cruised down the Waveney with the canopy up though open at the back and sides to provide shade from the sun but still let the cooling breeze in. Thus from Beccles to moor at Oulton Broad after which Diana and I walked the hour to Lowestoft. Here to enjoy a nice plate of seafood and sight of the beach and bathing beauties.
Once back to The Wherry Hotel for a nice carvery dinner with which we drank rather too much wine. I made the most of Di’s state once back on the boat by enjoying her thoroughly for my satisfaction.
The news for the last three days has been of the Norwich City Library fire in which most of the historical collection of books, plates, maps and photographic history of Norwich and Norfolk has been lost
By now a routine to get up and out with Sam in the morning whilst Diana and the girls finish their toilette and get the boat ready for breakfast. Soon we were already to leave with Diana opting against waiting to use the marina laundry to save time.
