I had received a call from Pauline last night, the daughter of Bill Clarke who used to own one of my riverside plots, and I agreed to see them this morning.

Di was again unable to do her outside work today because of the rain and so went to Bedford instead and then had Chrisula and family over for tea.
I had intended to get out into the garden to do some outside work, but the night had been very wet and miserable and so, having walked Sam and settled him down, I drove into Norwich instead and did some shopping.
