Managing to walk Sam who was still suffering and have lunch in Wroxham on a rainy day before setting off for Cromer to see the blockbuster, ‘Jurassic Park’. Still managed a walk along Cromer Pier.
The popularity of the Conservative Party plumbs an all-time low as they seem set to lose a safe seat in the Christchurch By-Election. Israel bombard Southern Lebanon in another outrage.
It was quite a rainy day but we were at home for much of it and I rested my poor legs upstairs catching up on some reading for a period of relaxation. The day started with a pause in the rain which was long enough for me to give Sam a good run. I took him along the marsh roads and then back into the village for the milk and newspaper. Breakfast and then we all went into Wroxham for morning drinks, and then lunch later, both at the Riverside Cafe.

It was a day of sunshine and showers with a fair breeze to go with it. Sam was still suffering from his digestive problems and had to be given his "roundworm" treatment today for good measure, but I was reducing his feed again and hoped to restore control before long. A quieter start to the day before lunch at Wroxham Barns and some time for the girls on their traditional fairground equipment as Diana and I looked around the craft shops.
Then a walk and some great retrieves for Sam between showers on the Winterton sand dunes in the sunshine and showers.
John Major in trouble for calling three of his Cabinet Ministers "bastards injecting poison" in recorded private conversations
Sam was awake early and messing his run again which was another disappointment. A long run around the marshes and then into the village for milk and "The Independent". The papers there are full of the problems of John Major. Back for a latish breakfast with the family and then I was relaxing reading the newspaper when Diana had a go at me for not planning an outing for the day.

A busy day struggling with Sam first thing, shopping with Diana in Norwich as Daniel stayed behind, washed both of our cars and looked after Sam and the girls.
I finished the hall modifications and we could now store our coats and shoes. We finished the day with a Bacton Woods walk and a nice TV programme about the Geordie detective, "Spender".
I was disappointed to find that Sam had messed his run this morning, having been whining for quite a while by the time that I got to him. Either I have been overfeeding him and have yet to get his food back in balance again or I should make allowances in view of him being on the worming medicine at the moment. First a walk around Crabbett's Marsh where I was subjecting him to more starting pistol blanks and starting to use dummies with feathers taped and banded on.
