With the weather still mild, I took Sam for some water retrieves and then Daniel and I completed some great computer upgrades. Then to St. James Church for the Family Carol Service in late afternoon.
The weather was wet and windy again but at least still mild and so I took Sam over to the Common again and put him through his paces on some more water retrieves. He was still very cautious about getting out of his depth to begin with but then warmed to it and was swimming in the end. I will have to give him several such sessions before he is totally trusting and throws caution to the wind.

We had a bit of a rush this morning as I had booked Sam in for his yearly booster injection at 10.30am and we had to get all packed up and away in time for that. My normal 7.30am radio wake up call for me to get shaved and dressed and out with the dog for a walk around Crabbett's Marsh before back for breakfast which the girls had prepared.

After walking Sam in the open fields, it started to rain heavily just as I got to back to Horning. With my girls, we managed a day in Norwich shopping as the car is serviced.
This evening, we drove over to Cromer and saw "The Addam's Family Values" there and had our first sight of the damaged Cromer pier
Awoken from a sound sleep by my alarm radio at 7.30am and soon washed, shaved and dressed and got out with the dog. A walk via the open fields to exercise him and then into the village to get a morning paper and some cereal for the girls. I could not get multiple boxes of full-sized cereals and so got them Kellogg's Variety; the miniature packets of each cellophane-wrapped together.
