Diana and Debbie both suffering from their discomforts on this day

Getting poor Debbie off to school in her new braces on a much milder day and then some time editing Focus copy to try and incorporate Derek and Ross articles. FOCUS editing and correspondence.

Poor Diana had some stomach pains tonight; probably to do with her period and Debbie tried going to sleep with the extra strap on her brace which was yet a further discomfort for her.

It was much milder today and I was able to shed my woolly socks and jumper that have kept me warm during the recent cold snap. Up quite early and then, after breakfast, embarked upon the task of editing the rest of the FOCUS text for the forthcoming March issue number 17. I had a serious set-back when the computer went dead and had to retrace my footsteps which did not make the process any easier. The Eaton Socon articles were a particular problem with competing articles and themes from Derek and Ross so that it was the devil's own job making them into a coherent whole.

The effort continued after lunch and then I drove over to Hail Weston and presented the final copy and diskette files to John Roscoe who now has the job of laying the final result out. I also delivered copies of the edited text to other colleagues so as to give them the chance to make their own corrections and comments. Home to watch some afternoon television with the family and then spend this evening catching up on a range of correspondence, much of which I could send by Fax.
