On a mild and windy but slightly rainy day giving gave Sam some water retrieves after his break and then working with Daniel on the new Amstrad 3/86 computer installation as Della plays on my 4/86.

I was the first up after Diana this morning and was given my breakfast of porridge on my own before taking the dog out for a walk. We found the networking software was working perfectly today after the systems had been re-booted but we then installed another parallel port so that the printer could be shared on it as well. Soon time for our Saturday lunch out and it was just Daniel joining us as his university friends had yet to arrive. Off to the Happy Eater and then back to find Daniel's friends had all arrived here so we gave them tea whilst Daniel copied some computer games for them and carried on helping me. Another active walk for Sam across St Neots Common and this time got him to get out of his depth on water retrieves for the first time since he became nervous of this.
The evening installing games software and letting Della play "The Day of the Tentacle" in full speed and colour on the 4/86 machine whilst I was still able to use word processing on my Amstrad 3/86 and access the larger machine's files via the network. Still mild and windy tonight.
