A mild day becoming windy, tearing at The Hayling View, during which Della joined me as I walked the dog to the school bus stop to see Debbie off and on to the local shop for Saturday sweets.

Then for a long walk around the gravel pits and she was intrigued by a fox hole and the muntjac deer tracks which had freshened overnight. Debbie joined us later over to Mill Meadow and used the dummy launcher for the first time. Also telephoning my mother to arrange a visit to Stanton tomorrow on my way back to Norfolk

I arranged for Della to get up early this morning and she came into bed with me before breakfast. The morning routine, feeding the doves and fish in Bill's absence and then Della joined me as I walked the dog to the school bus stop to see Debbie off and then on to the local shop for Della to buy her Saturday sweets. Della stayed with me for a long walk around the gravel pits and she was intrigued by a fox hole and the muntjac deer tracks which had freshened overnight. Sam and Della did not get on too badly together and he only jumped up once.

A late morning dash into St Neots where I did another building society transaction and then took Della to buy her a pair of boots and large socks to wear underneath. Back to collect Debbie for lunch at The Little Chef and then both girls joined me as we walked the dog over to Mill Meadow and used the dummy launcher for the first time. Debbie held Sam as I went 50 yards downwind and then I fired the launcher a few times, steadily increasing the bang. He was excited to hear the bang and see the dummy sail over but was quite happy with the noise. A quieter exercise session with him after tea, just spending time in the back garden. This evening working on my financial summaries and also telephoning my mother to arrange a visit to Stanton tomorrow on my way back to Norfolk. The weather was mild but showery and breezy today, but it then became very windy indeed this evening, the air howling and tearing at The Hayling View. I just hit fourteen stone body weight today but still need to lose a few pounds more.
