Successfully getting my Reliant passed its MOT, a family trip to the dentist and then home for Diana to host a tea-party for Chrisula and her three daughters.

Accompanied the girls to the bus stop and then got down to working on Percy, adjusting the brakes and checking all systems prior to taking it for the MOT test. Had to wake up Daniel to both move his car and then help me by driving behind me as I started Percy and moved off onto the open road and towards Elsworth. The car was passed without too much fuss (or scrutiny to be honest) and I just had to work the lights to satisfy tester Bob as he was sympathetic to old vehicles.

The journey there and back satisfactory and without incident and the van ran very well for a 55-year-old! Daniel off to Norwich for his last few days there and to attend an interview at Diss and so I gave him £50 subsistence as he had no money at all. Later in the afternoon, I went off to Kimbolton with Diana where we collected Debbie and Della and went to the dentist. A clear bill of health from him and no problems to speak of but Della will have to get some X-Rays and start a programme of tooth-straightening after Christmas as her teeth are very crowded.
