Off to the Pleasurebeach in Great Yarmouth for the day

On a cooler, breezier and damper day that of late, off to the Pleasurebeach in Great Yarmouth for the day, and home via Lathams of Potter Heigham for afternoon tea and some leisure shopping and Ludham to collect my serviced 9.9HP Mariner outboard motor.

The day promised to be cooler, breezier and damper than of late and so we decided to go to Pleasurebeach and persuaded Daniel to join us. A local run with Sam to start with and then, once we were  all loaded up. off to Great Yarmouth, avoiding the temptation to stop on the way. As before, we drove along the seafront and parked outside the far entrance of Pleasurebeach to first get a drink at the cafe there.

The weather was already cloudy and so we could leave Sam in the car whilst we walked along to the kiosk and bought some special offer wristbands and tokens. We left these with Daniel and the girls and then took Sam for the long walk to Gorleston and the harbour entrance. It was breezy and cloudy and then we had a shower which did not bother us and only served to clear the beach of families so that Sam could have an unencumbered run back!

He was well under control, even though I let him range out. Back to Pleasurebeach for lunch with the family and then home via Potter Heigham. Just time once back to go and collect my 9.9HP Mariner outboard motor from Ludham Marina where they had serviced the motor nicely and on time. Off this evening again for another walk alongside the Thurne at Ludham but Sam was still game for the exercise and got thoroughly wet in the dykes. Tired to my journal, my bath and my bed.
