Dog training day with Sam on Mill Meadow as Diana went to Priory Park with Della this afternoon for "Brownie Revels" as I spend a quiet Day at home.

A bit more fun for the dog today as I took the "dummy launcher" across with him to Mill Meadow this evening and have him a half-dozen powered retrieves. He is very keen on the sound of the blanks and the task is to keep him settled down and wait before retrieving rather than running in as the dummy was in the air. I was managing it in the end by keeping my stop whistle in my lips and giving a loud blast to hold him up when the dummy was launched.
