To St Ives to get my Theoben air rifle fixed

On another cold and frosty morning after exercising Sam and walking the girls to the school bus stop, the drive to St Ives to get my Theoben air rifle fixed and then completed another working day. Arsenal beat the Dutch cup-holders 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig 3-0 in the first leg of their tie.

Another in the series of cold and frosty mornings  but I was out early enough to exercise Sam and still be able to join the girls at the bus stop to wave them off. Daniel and Diana passed us there as well as she dropped off her Fiesta at Hunts Motors for a service and MOT and he collected her afterwards. Some time with the gardener after returning from a long run and I confess to being rather irritated with Bill. He is not getting on with the work and keeps bringing me problems instead of solutions. Today he could not start the shredder having let it deteriorate without getting it fixed.

Then off to St Ives with Diana, dropping her off to do some shopping whilst I went in search of the Theoben Engineering factory. I had been having some problems with my Rapide-7 air rifle and wanted their help in recharging my reservoir bottle and installing new "O" rings on the gun bottles. A little late back to Diana in the town centre but then we both enjoyed a fine lunch at the cafe before setting off home. Some work and chores and then later I helped her collect the car. It had passed the MOT but they tried to overcharge her some £7 on a £100 bill until I pointed out their error. It seems that you cannot trust anybody and that everybody is lookin

g out for themselves these days. An evening typing in my last week's journal and watching another football match - this time seeing Arsenal beat the Dutch cup-holders 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig 3-0 in the first leg of their tie.
