A day working at home in my office, balancing bank accounts and making calls. Chasing Nigel about our Cambridge Street project after seeing the girls off to the bus stop with Sam.

The final day in the first Test Match in which England lost a match they could well have saved

A day to stay at home and work away at my backlog of paperwork but still I did not tackle the filing that has become a real problem. Diana woke me with my morning tea and then I had breakfast with the girls before getting out with Sam to see them off on the bus. It now depends on a site visit tomorrow. Final arrangements with Steven for our trip to Norfolk and some other correspondence before retiring on time. I did not spend all of my time working today but also watched some of the final day in the first Test Match. England lost a match they could well have saved which was a disappointment. John Grosvenor came round today to get advice on possible business ventures and seems likely to go in for a pub tenancy as he could not find any employment after being made redundant.
